An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Home & Garden executive team member at Agriton. We are a small team, with a big passion for sustainability.
Agriton was established 25 years ago and the role we are recruiting for will require an enthusiastic and passionate individual who can understand the importance of looking after the planet.
The Home & Garden products vary from human health drinks, natural and chemical free based cleaning and garden products, and products to promote soil health.
The successful candidate will:
-Need to be proficient in the use of social media and have a good understanding of the target audience.
-Have a flair for creating engaging posts to help promote the products, also engaging and educating our audience.
-Expanding and mangeing our existing customers; we currently have a handful of distributors throughout the UK. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and a motivated self-starter, to manage, educate and build relationships to grow the retail customer base.
-Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
Company information: Agriton Home & Garden is part of the Agriton group which has companies across Europe and manufactures in the Netherlands. The Agriton group specialises in Agricultural products for the Dairy farmer and Foliar fertilisers used by our arable farmers. Our Home & Garden section is in the developmental stage and needs the right person to introduce it further in the market of daily household staple products.
Our central focus always leads us back to the soil which plays a major part in our food chain and hence has an indirect effect on human health.
Education is also a major theme in our company and spreading the knowledge of the benefits that microbial based products can contribute in our choice of having a healthier lifestyle .
For these reasons it is important we recruit a person who already has a passion for a healthy lifestyle and the goal to reduce use of chemical based products in our homes and gardening. A knowledge of sales to retail outlets and the capacity to build brand awareness to the general public will be part of your challenge. As a team member the role comprises an independent work style which includes posting on our social media accounts and further developing our product information database.
Customer support and expansion plays an important part of your responsibility to enhance slaes turnover. You will be based in our office and will have the freedom to plan travel across the UK & Ireland with overnight stays as required.
The position includes a laptop, mobile phone and car. A good understanding of computer systems, excellent communication skills and a friendly open-minded personality is a necessity for success.
